Great monitor but problems with correct color reproduction

First of all I would like to point out that if you are looking at this monitor because you need a good 2K monitor at 144 fps to play games you are in the perfect spot if you are trying to use this monitor for editing. As for color-sensitive materials, I strongly suggest you look at some IPS monitors. Let's get to the heart of this review. Pros: - Easy to set up - Mounts well to VESA mounts - Excellent brightness and good for gaming in my opinion a 1080p monitor. Cons: - Color rendering for anything other than games (even with a custom color profile) can be a little annoying - 2 years after purchase I have 2 dead pixels, they are not very noticeable as they take up very little space on the screen - short standard cable; Attempting to run a cable (especially the power cord) further than 5 feet from the monitor is not an easy task. The height I have my monitors at gives me basically 2 feet of clearance to play with. TL; DR: This is a great monitor for gaming and anything that doesn't care about color, super smooth and great quality. I highly recommend this monitor.

Pros
  • computers and accessories
Cons
  • Poor contrast: If the black and white levels aren't set correctly, the image on the screen can look washed out or too dark.
