Very nice set of dishes. Some of the reviews on this kit are ignorant... Read on.

This review is for the Ninja C38000 Foodi NeverStick Premium Hard Anodized 8 Piece Cookware Set Non Stick Durable Oven Safe 500F Slate Gray. This anodized cookware set is very beautiful and cooks really well. I was pleasantly surprised at the thickness of the forged aluminum in this set, as well as the thickness of the glass and overall quality. I cook a lot for our family and have tried different types of pots and pans and now this is my set that I use every day. This set is very versatile and can be used from stovetop to oven. as each item can withstand heat up to 500. It has a fantastic non-stick surface and I don't have to worry about what type of cookware I use as the metal doesn't damage the surface of those surfaces like other non-stick surfaces, although I still prefer silicone cookware for flexibility . Nicely sized and shaped handles provide a secure grip while cooking, and thick metal plates on the bottom prevent hot spots and distribute the heat really evenly. Also, less oil or oil is needed with this type of non-stick surface and even heating. The see-through lids are also a plus as you don't have to take the lids off as often to see what's going on inside or if something is simmering at the desired level. So to my original "ignorant" comment. I don't normally comment on other reviews but in this case I feel I should because I really think it's misleading about this set. I've also boiled eggs in these pans and they cook great and don't stick at all. I have no idea how anyone could do this in these pans other than maybe INTENTIONALLY overcook/burn the eggs or maybe leave something in the pan for a few days. And to avoid using cooking spray or scouring pads, NEVER USE THESE ON A NON-STICK PAN ANY TIME! Take a look and you'll quickly discover that sprays (cause sticking) and scouring pads (cause scratches) can ruin any non-stick surface and are NEVER recommended. As far as washability goes, this set of pots and lids is fully dishwasher safe and the instructions clearly state that it is. However, all coated anodized aluminum pans can discolour slightly with repeated use in the dishwasher. But if this aspect doesn't bother you and you prefer to use the dishwasher, then you can definitely do that. I personally prefer to wash this type of pan by hand. But the statement "hand wash only" is not correct, although it is advisable to avoid discoloration if that is an issue for you. Enough of it. I will continue. I use them on an induction hob and that's another reason I really like this set. It can be difficult to find good anodized cookware that is also suitable for induction cooktops. The only thing I noticed about the induction cooktop is that since these pans are really thick (which I like) they take a little longer to heat up and the heat is distributed much more evenly than other thinner pans. .So take this from someone who loves and cooks a lot these pans are very good quality and cook very well and I would recommend them.
