I originally ordered this to use as a tandem wheel chock but it was too big to fit between my trailer wheels. When I saw that it could also be used on a jack I decided to use it for that rather than using wooden blocks which would rot. Seems to be a good size and shape for the job. However, the first time I tried it, I had the pedestal in place and it looked like it was about to slide off the smooth, slippery surface of the pad. So I removed the support from the jack and lowered the jack into the hole. I started leveling my trailer. Everything seemed to be working fine until the tongue jack suddenly snapped through the plastic retainer and my brand new trailer bounced like it was an earthquake. The force actually bent one of my leveling presses so badly that it could no longer be used. Upon inspecting the pad, there is NO BOTTOM BRACKET to hold the 400-pound weight in one placeβjust an empty open space. To be honest when I saw the design I couldn't use it but thought it should pass the safety tests and inspections for the company to claim the sale that it's safe to use with a tongue jack. I am reconsidering my purchases of Camco products. You get what you pay for. I think if you plan on towing a small van full of weed this will work, but NOT a camper trailer (which is ironic given that the company specializes in camping gear)!
