Ignore other reviews, sometimes you need to use common sense. I followed the instructions and removed all of the old parts from my old mirror, except I used Gorilla Glue in addition to the padding. edition provided. Only use a little on the edges! For $11 this way, the thing did the trick. It's reversible! (1997 Grand Champion Lareado)
