Review on ๐Ÿ›€ Moen Brantford 6600ORB One Handle Oil Rubbed Faucet by Paul Dobson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Sloppy craftsmanship that Moen calls "normal ".

I bought this faucet for a major renovation of my home. I bought a few more kitchen and bathroom fittings from Moen Brantford. This is the only single lever mixer I have ever bought. Here's the problem: The faucet has a seam that runs the full length of the curved "outlet" part (I have no idea what the technical term would be). My faucet has the top set back about 1/8" and slightly to the side but noticeable, giving the faucet an obvious "overshoot". It looks like very sloppy hand work. I contacted Moen, sent them a photo of my faucet and they immediately sent me a replacement - with the same defect but not that bad.I called Moen again and they said all 6600 faucets look like this.I could only find one photo of line 6600 at an angle that it allows you to see the top and bottom alignment and this photo shows the perfect alignment.I suggested to the Moen rep I spoke to they look into the production of this model. For the price it shouldn't look so sloppy. All the other Brantford series faucets I've bought are pretty good.
