I bought this to use in place of expensive media for our new filter and it has saved me a lot of time and money. The material can be cut to size and was very easy to cut with regular scissors. In just a few minutes I cut out about 20 filter pads for the new filter, and there is plenty of material left for more. And this filter media works well since I've been using it for about 3 months now, it makes the filter easier to clean and definitely traps particles. Definitely recommend this as a money saver and it is a quality product I am sure you will be satisfied.
