Good boxes, spec. priced at

I was hesitant to buy them because the reviews said they were weak but that's not what I'm experiencing. These are nice, sturdy boxes, but you REALLY need to use a good cake stand that fills the entire bottom of the box for a 12" circular board to work for these 12" boxes. I make pretty heavy cakes and these boxes will definitely hold up. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because they've been in the packaging for so long that the sides/corners sag slightly. So I probably wouldn't use them on a cake where the frosting would be very close to the sides as a result. But an 8-9" pie on a 12" board is perfect for her. There was also a slight smell upon opening the package, but that was gone from the individual box in a matter of minutes. I recommend opening the packaging as soon as you receive it and letting it air out briefly.
