My husband and I are just getting into craft beer. We love it so much I thought this jar would make a great gift for him. The boy was right! I had never heard of nucleation points before this glass. It's essentially a bubble, or "head" as we call it in Virginia. If you pour a regular glass of beer you will get some foam which will dissipate after a few flavors. This glass, thanks to the etched hop leaf on the bottom, creates a constant stream of small bubbles throughout the beer glass without emptying it. It also captures the smell of the beer in the glass, giving you a great taste every time. There are other glasses with this design, but I don't have an engraving on the bottom. Try this one and you will be amazed at the difference in the taste of the beer. In time I will buy the Entie set.
