We installed this light on the machine as a status indicator so it can be seen from 50 feet away. It works well but is definitely lightweight compared to other indicators of the same type. The wire size is small, so you switch to 2 wire sizes when adapting to normal signal wiring. And the pins don't seem to have any internal strain relief, and it looks like the wires are coming straight out of the board, so don't plan on hanging heavy wires on them. I attached the SO cable to the corrugated connectors that connect the light guides to the bottom of the mounting tube. The mounting tube is a sintered metal composite with preformed threads. It's serving a purpose for now and has been up and running for a few months now so we've ordered more. I had to add a NO/NC relay to get it working and add a 0.3A fuse box to the rail mount system as it doesn't have an internal reset fuse. It's just the bare minimum with a lightweight mount. 110VAC wiring with 1 hot and 2 common (1 from each LED) to connect. The wires are designed to exit through the bottom of the mounting tube and extend beyond the end of the tube by about 14 inches. You can attach a junction box to the end of the tube, but I chose a molded silicone joint because there is a shortcut to the cable clip that comes with the panel. I needed an inexpensive way to add a display to older machines to fit the bill.
