We use these as part of our Lean implementation in our store. Our welders can signal to QA that they are needed in a specific area and QA can notify movers that material is inspected and ready for transport without having to search for someone and verbally express what is needed.

We installed this light on the machine as a status indicator so it can be seen from 50 feet away. It works well but is definitely lightweight compared to other indicators of the same type. The wire size is small, so you switch to 2 wire sizes when adapting to normal signal wiring. And the pins don't seem to have any internal strain relief, and it looks like the wires are coming straight out of the board, so don't plan on hanging heavy wires on them.
