Review on Unity 259360 Rear Shock Absorber by Chucky Hepler

This will not fit properly. The stock was too long to fit the OEM guard on top and its bolt on the end was sticking out too far to prevent the plastic cover from being fitted. It just looks like the wrong attitude. 15 year old mechanic here. If I can figure out how to customize it I'll update badly, but for now I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED! UPDATE: I was able to fit it: 1) Grind the shaft about 1mm because the lower threaded shaft will NOT fit through the metal bushing that attaches to the top of the strut. Again, NOT SUITABLE, REQUIRES CUSTOM GRINDING. If you are a DIYer and don't have a grinder or skills then you have been warned. 2) Removing the bumper glued over the entire sleeve. There is a 4 inch foam bumper that slides out of the protective plastic sleeve that fits over the shock. Once this is removed it will seat properly. VERDICT: NOT EXACTLY FIT FOR 2010 SCION XB. Looking back, I would have bought a different brand. NOT COOL UNITY INC. YOU'VE CALLED ME!
