So I thought this mirror comes with a plastic frame that the mirror glass fits onto. I knew it wouldn't come with the whole side mirror housing. This is an expensive replacement. But what disappointed me was that it was literally just mirror glass and two strips of double sided tape. You can stick it directly to your existing mirror with the included double-sided tape if your mirror doesn't fall apart or crack. You also have the option of breaking up the old mirror and scraping it off the plastic frame with a spatula and razor blade. Since mine wasn't cracked too badly, I decided to put it straight on top of the old mirror. As long as the double-sided tape holds, this mirror will remain. If that fails, he will surely fall. But for the price it was a simple and cheap solution. FYI, it also sticks out a bit further, simply because you now have two mirrors stacked on top of each other with double-sided tape sandwiched in the middle.
