I bought this to pierce my second holes at home for my brother's wedding because I didn't want to pay 50-100 dollars for it. I've used similar devices on others before, so I figured I'd go down that route for myself this time. The kit includes two 75% alcohol wipes and preloaded piercing guns. I checked to make sure the studs I ordered (color: AB - kinda iridescent iridescent glittery, see pics - so pretty) are loaded because I've seen people have trouble with them sometimes. The packaging states that the devices are sterile in the packaging, so after disinfecting and labeling the ears I just went for it. Not very painful, but I have a high pain threshold. I recommend aligning the earring with the mark and applying light pressure to make sure it stays aligned, then pressing down on the device in one quick, steady motion to make sure nothing is stuck and the earring comes all the way through. When you remove the piercing device, some plastic will remain on the earring, but it will immediately detach from the earring. Overall it has worked really well for me and as long as you are very clean with it it works great! would definitely recommend this.
