New TV manufacturers are walking away from decent remotes, and I'm not a fan of generic little remotes. I wanted old school remotes that gave me all the buttons I need, but more than that, one feature most people want to bury in new remotes is the sleep timer button, which is the main reason for buying these remote control is. Very good for the most part and is a very good replacement for the new Samsung remotes. It doesn't have voice controls and a hard-to-use mouse pointer gyroscope, but it's a solid remote that does everything else much better than the original remote. Get used to the feel of this remote control. It's a lighter remote with a different focus, so you'll need to get used to how you're holding it if you're switching from a similar Samsung remote. Once you get used to it, this is a great remote and you should love it.
