I pair these with a discrete Asus Xonar DX sound card, and the quality is beyond praise. The software virtualization of surround sound combined with these ears = sounds like they are coming from all over the place. Plus, the mids are pure, the highs are not twisted, the bass is gentle and pleasant while still being powerful and deep. The headphones are comfortable, the ears do not sweat or hurt, and they do not press on the ears in any way. Be careful though, because they are rather large; when I use them, I set the headband to the least number, and they fit me perfectly, but if you set it any higher, it will be too much.
