We bought this after our not quite 2 year old became interested in the potty. This is great because she quickly learned to walk up and down on her own. She feels completely secure because she doesn't wobble when sitting. We first had a potty in our rent and had to lift it up to get it in place. Our new home has toilets that allow him to sit on the toilet seat. It's actually light enough that our 2 year old girl can take it to the toilet herself when it's not in the toilet when she needs it. She also loves that the bear looks like Winnie the Pooh! FYI: We had to teach her to sit farther so she wouldn't jump over the potty. We didn't post a guard because she's too tall to stand up and turn around on her own. She learned quickly as she didn't want to piss on Pooh (on the step) so it's not that big of a problem.
