They are a bit difficult to attach to the rear tires. The front wheels can be folded out to create space to work. The rear tires limit the working space. Removing the rear tires would make the installation easier in the long run, but I don't have those tools. I found it necessary to drill mounting holes in my 2008 Tahoe. I'm sure they will last a long time as I have a set on my 2013 Wrangler and love them.
