Review on Ylkgogo Christmas Crocheting Embroidery Decoration by Carol Miller

Just received the Latch Kit and I have to say I am disappointed with how small it is. This will be completed within a few hours. I wanted something that would last days or weeks. I work from home and in my free time I work on the lock because I can't take my eyes off my desktop. The one I just completed is 33 x 23 and took weeks (because I'm just working on it while sitting at my desk waiting for calls). It's turned out beautifully, it's time for the harvest (cornucopia). But back to that rug. I really like that I don't have to use a grid to get through like I had to do with the one I just finished (that's another reason it took so long). The design is well printed on canvas. And I love that it's cropped and has a non-slip backing. But whatever, I'll finish them, fold them and put them in the closet with the others. I know it will be very nice when everything is finished. I really wish they had made more of this. Too small even to put by the door to wipe your feet (although I wouldn't as I've spent a lot of time making it). I don't like that the yarn is so thin. If there was enough of each color I would fold it in half so it's thicker so you can't see through it. But at least there is something to do. I will just remember not to use this provider next time. It's worth spending more money to get a much bigger and better product. The saying is true, "You get what you pay for." Also, it's actually not the size it should be, it's smaller! As if it should be smaller!
