Truly a Wonderbar! good for me

In the past I have tried other conditioner bars and been burned by them. I have used Lush (which is not the cheapest) and another conditioner bar from Ethique with little success. They left my hair a tangled mess with little softness and a greasy feeling. Even liquid eco friendly conditioners did not treat my long, thick hair very well, leaving it frizzy and a tangled rat's nest. I ordered the Wonderbar, figuring I would give it a try as I am trying to go package free.Let me tell you, the Wonderbar truly is a wonder. I used much less of it than other conditioners and it left my hair easy to brush. Even the tangles I did get were easy to comb out with little resistance compared to other natural conditioners. Honestly, the only conditioner I ha r used that has outperformed the Wonderbar is Suave, which is full of silicates to keep tangles at bay. The scent is nice, not overpowering, and has just the right amount of moisture for my hair. I have to say, I am a convert to solid conditioner bars thanks to the Wonderbar. The real test will be in June when I will go scuba diving or swimming daily for a week, so we will see how it stands up to hair saturated with saltwater and chlorine, but based on my experience, I feel that this will be up to the job.

Pros
  • Doesn't leave any residue or buildup
Cons
  • May not provide enough shine for dull hair
