Don't gather too much wool
We have 4 dogs and 3 cats so there is a lot of wool to gather but they never seem to catch much. What they really grab is our Shelties' hair, which is admittedly the most annoying thing in the wash because it gets woven into the clothes, so that's not a bad thing. It's just that hair is probably harder to remove from them than from clothes. The only good thing is that I don't have to search for these hairs as they tend to accumulate on the balls. As for all the other hairs, I can't say I've actually seen them pick them up :/
