Poor quality wood best in my review

I’ve used basswood before and it’s my favorite. This stuff however was horrible. There were multiple splits and knots as well as the wood coming off in chunks rather than slices. One pull and a section would splinter off. Same with the cherry and walnut. Buy better quality basswood blocks and make your own spoon blanks.

Very nice, the quality is good.

Cons

Wood is difficult to carve without splitting, this is with sharp new tools.
