I always lost the remote control in blankets or tabletops. This makes it easier to see, and most importantly, prevents the remote from flying apart if it falls on the floor, which happens a lot in my life. I was concerned that the remote would no longer work or that there would have to be rubber bands around it to hold it together. I know we've all had to resort to it. It's easy to hold, the drawstring on it makes it easy to grab when you're tossing around half asleep, and the color is a plus. (I have red). My only objection is that sometimes it's difficult to find the power button. It's at the top of the console, partially obscuring it. It also makes it difficult to find the indentation on the main selection button, as the back of this Vizio remote has a raised back that helps you find it without looking. Overall I think this is a big plus and everyone should get one for each remote!
