Works great in my 2014 I3 Rex with Pro Navigation and Harmon Kardon system. Smoother than expected, CarPlay opens automatically when I turn on the car and also toggles back and forth to the OEM rear camera. The only difficulty with the installation was disconnecting some of the inputs from the BMW head unit, the plastic tips are easy to break. They had to be removed before disconnecting the main wiring harness because they got in the way. I recommend buying felt tape. It's worth using where the glove box is after it's removed for this upgrade. I also recommend wrapping the sides of the vents with felt tape. Perfect driving machine after 1 hour installation and final assembly with felt tape. CarPlay and no creaking in the I3. With an iPhone 12 mini running iOS 14.3
