Ideal for replacing a discontinued Kohler part. Water pressure and mixing have never been better. No leaks. Feels like hard plastic that should hold up. Even comes with extra gaskets and washers for different types of Kohler mixer valve cartridges, but I replaced that part too so I just set extra parts aside, but great if you're not replacing a mixer valve cartridge but are giving it new gaskets/washers want. Plus, it comes with a small capsule of silicone lube, which is enough to get the job done if you don't have a separate tube handy.
