I purchased this product to clean stainless steel cooking grates after successfully using Goo Gone Oven & Grill Cleaner. Based on the product name (Grill & Grate) I assumed it would work even better. Unfortunately it isn't. It is very thin and runs off the grate shortly after spraying. It does very little to loosen or soften the dirt burnt on the grill. It might work fine for other purposes, but that's about all I would use it for. If you need a grill grate cleaner, try Goo Gone Oven and Grill Cleaner.
