In fact, I never thought I'd buy something like this for personal "male" use; but a friend pointed me in this direction, both as a measure to save on toilet paper and as a great way to get rid of a stain. And you have to admit he was right! Having installed one of these in both bathrooms I'm pretty damn impressed. As a guy, I certainly don't use the front attachment. But it's there if you ever need it. These items come in a very nice stamped box containing everything needed for installation. This appears to have had the highest proportion of positive reviews overall and was the only brass fitting claimed. So I made two of them. You don't need a key to install them. All bolted connections must be wrapped with the supplied teflon tape and fittings should ONLY be hand tightened. If a leak occurs, an additional quarter turn of the fitting with pliers will stop it. Their appearance is very simple and understated - no flashy knobs, knobs or levers, and the stainless steel cord looks mostly out of place. In my toilets, they didn't create a gap between the seat and the bowl, so I didn't have to use the protective pads that came with them. That's even better because for some reason they're gray and not white. One of the bidets had an issue - the spray selector knob and valve controls seemed off center. Turning the dial to the "rear" end of the dial required me to pass the second point before ANY water began to flow. And by moving the handle to the "off” position, water is supplied from the front nozzle. I've included photos showing the effective "off" position for each of them. I ordered a replacement from Revain and luckily it works perfectly. In general, I really like these things. They are practical, attractive and easy to use. The best part is that they serve a very useful purpose. However, the careless manufacture of a problem child is unforgivable.
