I bought this to drill some countersunk holes in an aluminum plate that I bought to use as a heated bed on my 3D printer (713maker). I'm an idiot and used the wrong countersink to countersink. Holes for my standard M3 screws (there are 2 for M3) so it's my fault. However, my Ryobi hand drill did the job as you can see in the photos. Although she coped with her task, she turned out to be a bit ugly. However, this could be because I used a hand drill instead of a drill press. I didn't need it fancy, just functional, and that's what it worked for. I also used Oil 3 in 1. I wasn't sure if I should or not but I've seen other metal shops use oil so I figured why not. The bits went through the aluminum like clockwork. Can you tell I'm not a locksmith?
