Review on 2 PACK Best Nut Milk Book by Jessica Ness

Suitable for juicing at home without a juicer

As a fresh/green juice lover, I had a juicer but didn't like using it because cleaning up was time consuming and leafy greens often didn't yield much juice. I've seen a lot of tutorials on juicing using a high speed blender (Vitamix) and then straining the juice with a nut bag, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered this variant based on the good reviews, the price, and the fact that there were two packs. I used the following ingredients: 1 large cucumber, 1 packet of baby spinach, a few sticks of celery, 4 small green apples, 2 lemons and a piece of ginger. You need to add some water to help the mix, which dilutes the flavor of the juice compared to the direct juicing method. My Vitamix was almost filled to the brim and required two separate batches of strainers. It would be better to do this in three or four passes to make it easier to squeeze out the pulp inside the bag. I've attached a few photos showing the following: The bag looked like it had been screened. The main disadvantage was that the pulp got stuck between the seams and was quite difficult to peel. Or aggressively rubbing the bag underwater, which can potentially loosen seams that aren't sewn very tightly. Or do as I did: soak the bag in some soapy water overnight. So far so good, but the real test is whether these seams can withstand regular use and the pressure of squeezing the juice out of the pulp.
