scale arrived perfectly packaged. The illustrations in the description of the scale show both a round pan and a rectangular plate. It does not come with a rectangular top. Calibration weight of 100g is not equal to 100g. I put the weight on several scales and it always weighs 100.113g. The seller claims an accuracy of +/- 0.03 g. I've put several other calibrated known weights on the scale including 1g, 5g, 10g, 20g and they always measure more than their actual weight. The scale cannot be calibrated if a known calibration weight is placed on the scale. The supplied calibration weight is only used to inform you about the inaccuracy of the scale. At the bottom of the scale is a removable cover that opens up what appears to be a battery compartment. A red and black wire is connected to the connector in the compartment. There is a switch on the bottom of the scale that looks like an on/off switch that serves no purpose. It should be rated for battery use, but the instructions say nothing about the compartment, battery, or switch.
