First, my average rating might be a little harsh. I believe Victorinox is a respected brand that makes a quality product. Unfortunately, they do not have time to finish the work. I have a whole collection of Victorinox wooden handle knives and spatulas. Each of the parts I received required additional finishing. I had to sand a straight edge, sand the handles, and then polish. Once I complete these tasks, they will be wonderful items for me to use. This spatula is no different. I think the spatula I received is a good start. The wood is hard without cracks, the blade is straight and clean, the rivets are tight. I will continue to buy Victorinox with the understanding that I will have to finish it myself.
