Review on Enhanced Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro Lens by Aashit Singh ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

Can't comment on the price, I bought it used. For your area (subject / macro) on the crop - what you need. Portrait application BUT (!) Adjusted for "excessive" sharpness. In a number of situations, he clearly lacks a stub (on the other hand, 100kA / 2.8L IS USM is almost 2 times more expensive). In general, quite a successful "non-L'echnaya" model for crop. Has some pros Nimble, tenacious, quiet, sharp, the colors are bright, saturated, it “washes” the background well (7 petals after all) With its cons. In difficult / insufficient lighting, it starts to frantically catch the focus - crawl back and forth (though thanks to USM it does it quietly). Too harsh for a portrait. Still, he lacks a stub. EF-S (will not go to FF).

With its pros. Good drawing, comfortable. Cons: I practically didn’t find it, it may be embossed white (noticeable when magnified)

Has pros: The lens is used on 7D. It is really very compact and fast. Suitable for shooting medium-sized subjects. Affordable price. Different cons: There is no high rendering of small elements with a lack of light.

Has pros: Fast, sharp, photosensitive. Professional in one word. Its cons: With crop it turns out 80 mm, not very convenient. Have to leave.
