Review on ๐ŸŽ’ Dakine Syncline 12L Hydration Pack Black: Optimal Size and Efficiency by Jeff Talcott

Ok, but I wouldn't buy it again.

This is a good package but I think it needs improvement. The cell phone pocket is too small. No need to mess with your most-used bag in your backpack. The tool pouch has two side zippers and a velcro flap which is not very secure. I have no idea what the point behind it is. I've already dropped the tool, but luckily it only fell out on my car. Why not use a regular zipper? The drinking tube only runs on the left side. Not critical, but if you use the hose right for 30 years, it's hard to get used to. Filling the bladder is a bit cumbersome. It helps if you don't fill it as full as it is snug. The pad/helmet attachment loops are too small to fit the strap through so I'm not sure what the point is. I would start over and redesign the thing. I assume this is the first design and the bugs have never been updated.
