I can't imagine cleaning without them. I have cats, birds, pet rabbits, rats and an old dog with bladder problems. These pads will pick up EVERY hair, food, liquid, dirt, etc. from the first broom to the last. Other pads soak up liquid and then smear everything around without actually trapping dirt. These pads handle it all without leaving a mark or mark. I can easily clean 2 rooms with one sponge if I just keep the floor clean enough. Heavier urine infested areas require one per room just because I don't want to spread dirt from one area to another, but I'm confident these pads are clean despite the messy mess. I use a fairly expensive enzymatic pet cleaner, which may be due to their effectiveness. I've used them on vertical blinds and hard to clean closet doors with amazing results. They're not just for the floor, the possibilities are endless.
