Used it for the first time today and was pleased

Used with Clay Lube here at Revain. I built two cars and it held up. No complaints. This was my second time using clay on a car. If the question is whether you need clay or not. then you are definitely worth it. The car is so smooth and has brought back some of its original color. My Tesla has become softer. And for my black 2011 SUV, which I've never glued. he restored it quite well. It's so smooth. I think if I refurbished the car I would give it new car quality back so I'll think about it. If you have small scratches on the paint, the tone bar will not get rid of them. You need this for polishing. When you run your hand over the car and it seems like grains of sandpaper are left on it, even after washing and waxing the car. .then you have to rent your car. This took about 35 minutes. {update} After a few more uses, I found that clay lubricant wasn't necessary. All you need is a clean, soapy car wash. So. I learned that you MUST wash your car first to remove as much dirt as possible. Then wash your car. So I'm going to use soapy water, mix up a small fresh batch in a clean bucket and run through 5 foot sections. I apply soapy water with a clean rag and run the clay bar back and forth in one direction across the cut, then back to the same area perpendicular to the corner I went through the first time. I run my bare hand over some areas to make sure they are smooth. When I'm done with that area, I wipe it down with a soapy cloth and rinse before moving on to the next area. That's why you don't want to do this job on a hot day. Otherwise the water will dry out too quickly. After I'm done, I'll rinse the whole car and dry the car. I find a si02 microfiber spray on a car is the best finishing touch and really makes the car shine. I no longer use wax. si02 is all you need. I see the need to do this 1-2 times a year. The tin it comes in is made out of very cheap plastic. if you prefer this to another brand just because of the container. no worries. It is not worth. This product served its purpose and has held up well.
