The ball head is great.

I mounted my Canon M50 on this tripod and it fits very well. The head on it provides very smooth movements. The tripod is very light, so traveling with it is a breeze. If you're using it outside on rough ground, its base isn't as wide as it should be to make it fully stable, but inside it works great even with a slightly larger lens on the camera, and I'm sure it does you use it for a phone
