I'm a fan now. good for electrics

I'm not sure I believe the 84 ounce inches. Doesn't seem that strong, but other than that it worked great. Addendum: I have just purchased 3 more of these motors and am now very impressed with the product. My main printer is showing its age and the X axis motor gets very hot and recently started skidding (missing steps) after about 10 minutes of printing. I replaced it with one of these and not only did it stay relatively cool, it never missed a beat. My prints seem to be much better, whichโ€ฆ

I replaced the Prusa i3 MK3 extruder motor, everything is fine.

The standard i3 mk3 extruder motor gets very hot. I don't know if it's badly wired or just constantly overloaded, but the concern is that heat will be transferred to the Bondtech gears and the PLA will warp when fed. Having had some random issues I decided to upgrade my extruder to a slightly more powerful one and went with this one. It's a bit longer, but even with newer R3 mods, it doesn't matter if you install it. This is the perfect replacement. It also stays cool for 12+ hours of typingโ€ฆ

  • Everything is fine!

Good steppers, doesn't fit Ender 3

Bought a pair of these to replace one of the faulty steppers on my Ender 3. Although the seller claims they are plug and play, they require a little more work than that. The pins are hardwired to the stepper motor, so you'll need to remove the standard cable and connect the stepper motor wires directly to the motherboard. The stepper motors themselves are also twice the size of a standard Ender 3 stepper motor, which introduces some issues. The adjustment screw on the back left interferes withโ€ฆ

I prefer my cheap stepper motors from AliExpress

For starters; I was struggling to set them up in Marlin with TMC2209 drivers. They are loud and make a lot of clanking noises. To get the right settings, they differ depending on the setup. I am using TMC2209 on SKR 1.4. I found that increasing the hybrid threshold from 100 to 110 and increasing the current to 1100 helped make these motors quieter and improved my prints. You can do this by going to Configuration/Advanced Settings/TMC Driver from the LCD screen. their wire management method. All

Plug and play for Prusa i3 3D printer

I needed a new motor for my Prusa 3D printer. Movement along the Y-axis was jerky and unstable. After identifying a motor fault as the culprit (by toggling the X/Y motor inputs on the Raspberry Pi printer motherboard and seeing that the Y motor failed with X commands, but the X motor runs with Y commands) , I thought that a cheap trial would be to order a new motor and hope that the problem is solved. Received the next day and simply disconnected the old motor Y-cable and connected the new oneโ€ฆ

Good powerful NEMA 17 stepper motor

I used a geared extruder on my 3D printer with 2.85mm filament size. I had a standard NEMA 17 40mm stepper motor running on an extruder and was having trouble skipping steps when trying to extrude 2.85/3mm filament. I had to increase the motor current of this 40mm motor above the rated amps and there were still some missing steps due to the extra torque required for the larger diameter filament. I ordered this stepper motor because of the higher current limit and higher torque. Rating forโ€ฆ

  • Very expensive

Everything you need to make them work.

High quality packaging, good motors, cables did not match the documentation. You may have to use trial and error (don't refer to the 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B wiring comments they gave in response to another customer's question). I've spent more time getting them to work than I care to admit, that's all you need. Requires: Elegoo Stepstick A4988 Stepper Motor Driver Module + Heatsink for 3D Printer, CNC Machine or Robot Repair (5 Pack) High quality drivers that make driving easier. Best price I've seenโ€ฆ
