I fitted this bracket to my Honda CB500F. I love how this mount holds all four corners of my phone and rotates sideways to give me a full view of my dashboard. I roughed up the ball joint to increase friction, but everything stays pretty good, even on train tracks. I'm a bit curious about the durability of this plastic holder, but so far it's worked well. As for the USB wiring, I wanted to try wiring the power cords into a circuit that was only on when the key was on, but my motorcycle seat belts are a little hard to reach so they don't look dirty. Since there is a switch next to the USB connector, I connected it directly to the battery terminals. However, I added an ATA fusible link between the battery and charger wiring. Since the wire I ran to the battery was on top of the motor, I didn't want to worry about the small wire from the charger melting and shorting out, causing a problem.
