Review on 🤿 ME MARTIAN ELITE Tribord/Subea Easybreath Full Face Snorkel Mask, with Waterproof Earplug, Enhanced Anti-Fog, and Anti-Leak Technology by John Brazington

I was so hoping this would be a good product; Bought primarily for my wife who is not a swimmer thought I could help her get used to the mask and enjoy snorkeling with me in the shallow waters of the Caribbean. Unfortunately, she said she had to "suck hard" and "breathe hard" with this mask on. And please no rude comments in response - this is my wife. The fact is that she could not breathe normally and use this mask. I had the same with my mask. I am not a diver but an "experienced diver" with over 40 years diving experience in the Caribbean and Mediterranean. As an experienced swimmer, I suffocated after 20 or 30 meters of snorkeling - I had to breathe in really hard to get it and exhale forcefully to push the air out. It was extremely uncomfortable and after a few trial sessions to get used to the mask I took it off and never touched it again. Breathing issues aside, I found the straps to be very cheap. Instead of silicone straps, as in conventional masks, they are equipped with wide textile rubber straps; Whilst they are of good quality they are not intended for underwater use - they are made for tent covers, tarpaulin straps etc. Simple elastic straps - not for extreme use, not for water - I can imagine them wearing out after multiple uses. Having tried 4 or 5 high quality diving masks in my life I was shocked that the makers of this product added elements to this mask that are clearly designed for dry use only. if it were a car or an airplane, it would be a crime to use such inappropriate materials. Overall I was extremely disappointed with this product - it is not ready for production yet - it should be considered a prototype and NEVER sold. And unfortunately, because I live in South America and missed the return deadline, I've now spent $140 on masks that we will never use. They're so hard to breathe with, I don't even feel comfortable giving them away. I feel betrayed and robbed.
