First off, let me say that if you are a professional scuba diver, this mask is not for you. The mask holds quite a lot of air, which makes diving underwater difficult. I bought this just before I went on a cruise a few weeks ago and I loved it! I have other scuba gear that I've used in the past but I've always disliked how the goggles fog up and always try to clean them. I used them during our trip in Nassau and Costa Maya, Mexico and they were a huge improvement. I don't know if the mask itself works well but the problem is the size. I'm a normal 5'2 woman and this mask is too tight. Guaranteed headache when trying to start this dive. I disagree with the idea of adult female and child heads fitting on the same mask. A large size that fits a grown man will do. I suspect it will be too big and I will have constant leakage problems. Unfortunately this is a great product but with terrible consequences for use. I bought it on the recommendation of several friends. The reviews were great. Wearing a mask in terms of how it sits on my face is great, but there is a hidden danger that too much CO2 (carbon dioxide) will build up in the mask and you could pass out and drown. I've been swimming a mile every three days in the gym pool wearing this mask for over a year. It took me a few weeks to learn how to wear a face mask to prevent leaks and get rid of the claustrophobic feeling of having my whole face covered.
