This product is perfect for my dog who has unsteady back legs. I had regular steps before but this is better. She doesn't lose her footing and always lands with her paws with the ramp. Before she would miss the proper place to land a paw and then end up falling down the two steps and crashing into the wall, etc. Now there is no issue. The steps are soft and yet sturdy enough for a 50lb dog. My only request is that there were adhesive patches on the bottom and perhaps to the side to keep it sliding around but I can always add rug adhesive patches to it. I am extremely happy with the product and would buy it again and again.
