Review on πŸš™ Husky Liners Weatherbeater Front & 2nd Seat Floor Mats for 2011-14 Ford Explorer, Black by Daniel Ortiz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Husky liners are superior to Weathertech. hands down

This is my third set of Husky ear tips and I will never use Weathertech again. Not only are Husky earbuds cheaper, they also fit a lot better. The Husky liners are a bit thicker, but the strength is about the same on both, so I'm giving them to Weathertech. I bought a used 2014 Explorer that came from the previous owner with Weathertech front and second row liners. The car was 5 years old at the time of purchase so the Weathertech liners couldn't be more than 5 years old. I was very disappointed to see how the Weathertech liners performed after (up to) 5 years of use. Glad I didn't even buy them. As you can see in the image showing the front 2nd and 2nd row Weathertech earbuds, the outside edges of all earbuds are wrapped inward. Also note that the back edge of the 2nd row lining is scalloped instead of straight. In the following image I show the right front pads side by side. Husky on the left, Weathertech on the right. You can see the right edge of Weathertech rolled up from the Husky. Also notice how much higher the edges are on all 4 sides, the better contouring of the Husky's back edge, and how the Husky's right edge rises up and then towards the door. The Weathertech liner is in the 3rd picture. Husky liner shows how much better contour and how much husky coverage. Both frontliners cover more ground than Weathertech. If you want a better earbud for less money, get a Husky. Trunk/truck lines are also excellent, but that's another story.
