Looks like a home made product of exceptional quality. Technical support is provided via email or voicemail. I had some questions about my unique application. Both emails were answered within 2 hours. One was Friday night, the other late Saturday night. I have a place on Lake Ontario. In summer, the water temperature near the coast is between 45 and 80 °C, depending on the wind direction. It can swing 20 degrees in a day. I was looking for a wireless thermometer that I could hang at the end of the dock to monitor the water temperature. The distance from the probe to my house is about 200 feet. This is the first device I've tried and it not only works, it far exceeds my expectations. I don't know if the probe is waterproof but the lake can really affect things so I placed it in a piece of plastic tubing and then filled it with silicone sealant. I have to agree with other reviews that say the documentation is pretty sparse. but I typed in the website printed on the side of the device, which took me straight to their website. One of the options on the screen was a video. This is a great step by step video on setting up the probe. I encountered 1 problem. My iPhone didn't connect to the probe to set up its Wi-Fi to connect to my router. I was able to connect to an Ipad that doesn't have the latest iOS installed. This problem is not uncommon. When I notified their tech support they said they would update it. Conclusion: The probe is well made and works great. The phone app for viewing hourly time logs is simple and exceeded my expectations. Technical support was very responsive and helpful. This is almost unusual for such a cheap product. I recommend it as a first choice for anyone looking for a WiFi thermometer. I plan to check out other products on your website. Update 2021. This device never ceases to amaze me. I took my jetty out of the water for the winter but left the thermometer in place (now it records the air temperature). He worked all winter, even when the temperature dropped to zero. It's nice to see what the temperature was like every hour during the night. I should note that I have always used this from a small lawnmower battery with a solar charger and have never stopped working. When I replaced my router, I had to reconfigure it with a new one. it only lasted a few minutes. Since it's outside I sealed it in a ziplock bag. it kept him dry.
