Although the corner pieces are large and beautiful, children are a problem. My toddler and future toddlers went straight to the corner pads and took them off. They turned to me and smiled as if they had done something good. Now I put sticky pads on the corners that the kids can eventually tear off and eat. Since there doesn't seem to be any child-safe furniture or child-safe electronics, the best solution is to have no furniture and mount everything on the ceiling.
