Hard to open with one hand
The gate itself is great at doing its job to keep things out. But it is tough to open with just one hand, and if you’re carrying a child, you only have one hand. Lifting and opening with two hands is easy and works great.We get annoyed more times than not struggling to open and close it with one hand. Also, if you don’t use two hands, sometimes the force of one hand pushing up causes the gate to slide in (shrink in width) and then when you go to close it, it doesn’t line up.Overall sturdy and does the job, but just a little frustrating to open (even for adults).
