Review on Wireless Car Charger Accessories & Supplies for Vehicle Electronics Accessories by Edgardo Ennis

Excellent quality, easy to install, easy to use

Conclusion This is an excellent quality wireless car charger that is durable and charges via a Spigen phone case. First impressions out of the box are that the mounts and car charger are both convenient and comprehensive. They don't feel cheap or plasticky and have a smooth finish. They also seem to be quite durable. The USB to Micro USB car charger cable has a nylon sleeve, supports fast charging (albeit less fast than the original cables and connectors) and seems much less likely to break at the ends where many other wires are. The box comes with a vent mount as well as a dashboard mount (with suction cup). Again, both have a good weight, smooth finish, and are easy to handle. A quick note on durability - I have horrible delivery drivers where I live and this particular charger was delivered by someone who threw it through an 8ft gate. The packaging was a bit dented but there was no visible damage inside and as detailed below the charger still works great. Installation: Super easy. You need to unscrew the nut on the back of the charging mount, put a ball of either the air vent or dash mount on the nut, and then screw everything together on the charging mount. The vent mount has a lever that you press to open the clip that fits snugly in a car vent. The dash mount has two screw handles - one to increase the length of the mount and one to move the mount in different directions. Then connect the micro USB to USB cable to the bottom of the charging cradle and to the car charger. Ready! Using the charger: I honestly didn't quite understand how to open the clips to place the phone in the holder. Eventually I realized it was automatic! As soon as the mount is connected to a power source, the clamps open automatically. When you place your phone in the holder, the phone's weight activates the sensor and the clips automatically adjust and close. To re-open the clips and remove the phone, touch one of the silver square buttons on either side of the cradle. These aren't physical buttons, they're touch buttons. Real Charging: I was a bit scared reading reviews that people couldn't charge their phones through the case. I always keep a protective case on my phones as I tend to drop them, so the cases themselves are usually very protective. I'm currently using Spigen Tough Armor (highly recommended!), but I also have Spigen Rugged Armor and a family member has a Neo Hybrid. Wireless charging works in all and connects automatically when you put your phone in the charging station. The charger also supports fast charging! The cable is also suitable if you remove it and plug it into the wall charger. However, as mentioned above, it's still not as fast as the original cable in a fast-charge socket. Final Thoughts: A sleek wireless car charger that feels solid, has automatic features, and is easy to install. I've only been using it for a few days so I'll update if anything changes in the coming months.

Pros
  • How do I enable fast charging?
Cons
