I built my bed a few years ago so I know how heavy it is (pretty heavy). I was afraid to move it to paint the wall behind it. I bought this product somewhat dubious but am willing to try anything other than hiring the big boys at Burley or taking the bed apart. I used a system of levers to raise the bed just enough for the sliders to fit under the legs and was able to move the bed by myself. I used large furniture glides because of the size of the legs (they are 4x4) and because I wanted to move the bed in multiple directions while painting. I could operate the lever without help. I have also used this system to move heavy dressers. worth your money. I would suggest using it in combination with sliders when moving things across carpeted areas.
