They are well designed OK. Note, however, that the case confines the base to the 6 3/4 speaker, allowing it to breathe on the back of the speaker. We handcrafted the front doors of our 2001 Dakota 2-Door Long Cab 4.7L. As a test, we installed one of them on one side and left the other side door without this partition. You can hear the difference in the clipping of the lower fundamentals. we removed them completely. Kind regards,
