Pair of Bay Acoustic 6.5 Inch Speaker Baffles - Easy Installation Review

, making my critical mass 3-way audio components sound amazing. Full size GM truck with 6.5" door speakers. Upgraded with 6.5" 2 ohm Critical Mass speakers and also with these acoustic baffles for perfect frontstage sound!

They are well designed OK. Note, however, that the case confines the base to the 6 3/4 speaker, allowing it to breathe on the back of the speaker. We handcrafted the front doors of our 2001 Dakota 2-Door Long Cab 4.7L. As a test, we installed one of them on one side and left the other side door without this partition. Took them first, didn't like their sound even after modifying them like everyone else. I then ordered a silicone pair and from the start was blown away by the difference they made. Haven't touched them since and will buy another set for my rear speakers if I ever get them. Foam baffles don't produce the same bass quality and depth as a silicone pair. Well, it's worth a try I think. It may be better to use a 3 or 4 way kit for the mids, but in my opinion it's useless for woofers that need to…
