I love this book for a number of reasons. It is divided into chapters on individual topics. The images of the embroidered flowers look very professional and are a delight to look at! I love that one section has the flowers, another section has the outline of each flower along with the colors used to create them, and another section is about the Olympus filament used to create the flowers used by the DMC to assign the appropriate number. Obviously a lot of thought has gone into how to present this book; it shows. Recommended for anyone looking for an inspirational book. I love making my own samplers, but I'm not very good at drawing, so whatever I create in my head stays in my head for the most part. At 73 my head is already very stuffed so it's nice to be able to get everything out of my head and into my underwear! Now I can create a sampler out of different flowers printed on carbon paper and then smoothed on linen. Many Thanks. This book is exactly what I was looking for!
