Review on π₯ High Performance Power Stop K5298-26 Front Z26 Carbon Fiber Brake Pads with Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors Kit: Ensuring Enhanced Stopping Power by Jerry Moody
The design does not support the weight of the car.
During a long stop, e.g. B. when driving to Tahoe or Los Angeles, the rotors are hot. However, the holes in these rotors do not dissipate heat effectively, so the pad material stays in place. I had this kit installed to specification. Even with great attention to detail when breaking in, the rotors were still warping after 2,000 miles. Very, very disappointing. Please see the attached photos of the pad material installed in both rotors. I would heartily recommend purchasing another set of rotors and pads as this set totally exceeded all expectations.
